About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build trusted advisory relationships with priority Global Systems Integrators and senior technical stakeholders
- Secure multi-year technology bets with Fivetran and dbt Labs
- Own the joint technical narrative and capability messaging for the combined platform
- Develop reference architectures, integration patterns, and joint value stories
- Provide domain expertise on modern data platforms and enterprise technology
- Promote Fivetran and dbt Labs with partners, at conferences, and online
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure for complex GSI mega-agreements
- Maintain a current view of integration state, gaps, and opportunities across ingestion, transformation, semantic layer, catalog/metadata, agent, and MCP interfaces
- Collaborate with Product to drive technical outcomes
- Co-develop enterprise-grade joint solutions and accelerators with GSI partners, product management, and technical teams
- Evangelize jointly developed intellectual property with partners, customers, and the field
- Run the standing technical cadence with GSI practice and delivery leadership
- Drive and influence GSI audiences, identify expansion engagements, and accelerate agreement velocity
- Partner with regional Partner Solutions Architects and Partnerships teams to turn global relationships into regional execution
- Report directly to the Global Head of Partner Solutions Architecture
- Travel to partner and customer sites, conferences, and related events as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Direct experience with technology and/or systems integrator alliances, or experience on the delivery/practice side of a GSI or similar consulting organization, with a track record of shaping and scaling technical partner GTM
- 10+ years of experience as an enterprise/solutions architect or in an equivalent customer- and partner-facing role
- Fluency across the modern data stack, including ingestion, transformation, orchestration, warehouses/lakehouses, semantic layers, catalogs, BI, and the agent/MCP layer
- Demonstrable understanding of how GSIs operate, build, deploy, and monetise intellectual property with technology partners
- Experience engaging with and presenting to senior technical stakeholders and executive leaders
- Business acumen to translate technical solutions into partner and customer value
- Experience with modern AI paradigms, generative AI, and data technologies, including evaluating and reviewing technical solutions
- Ability to drive and influence GSI audiences, identify expansion engagements, and ensure accelerated agreement velocity with zero partner-delivery escalations
- Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally to position and orchestrate joint solutions spanning multiple products
- Willingness and ability to travel to partner and customer sites, conferences, and related events as needed
