About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with Enterprise customers to understand their business, use cases, and data replication and transformation requirements
Work cross-functionally with AEs, Professional Services, BDRs, marketing, and support to build and maintain holistic account ownership plans
Develop and deliver technical presentations to Enterprise audiences
Run a tight proof-of-value process to ensure the technical win
Work with Fivetran+dbt Product and Engineering teams to align solutions with Enterprise customer needs
Develop and maintain relationships with key Enterprise customers and partners
Stay up to date on the latest technologies and industry trends

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years in data replication, data practitioner, data operations, analytics, sales engineering, or a related technical field
Proven ability to work cross-functionally to support large enterprise customers
Strong technical background covering data replication, cloud infrastructure, data replication technologies, and/or database administration
Experience with modern data analytics technologies, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tooling, data catalogs, and BI tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Bonus: Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and SAP databases
Bonus: Basic Python competency and advanced SQL knowledge
Bonus: Hands-on experience with other data replication or ETL tools
Bonus: Experience with self-hosted software applications and supporting infrastructure
Bonus: Hands-on networking experience in cloud and on-premise environments
