About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide day-to-day management and support for banking systems
  • Support analysis, implementation, testing, and configuration for the core banking system and interfacing applications
  • Partner with Retail Banking, Treasury Management, other business units, and third-level frontline support
  • Upgrade, patch, troubleshoot, and install software
  • Maintain knowledge of systems utilized by the team
  • Perform testing and monitor quality assurance
  • Coordinate product installations with implementation schedules
  • Provide technical and product support to product owners and bank personnel
  • Document, track, and report outstanding vendor issues
  • Identify issue trends and patterns and report them to vendors and relevant teams
  • Manage incidents and problems
  • Provide operational expertise for process re-engineering initiatives and third-party vendor projects
  • Design system solutions for online and mobile banking needs with internal business partners
  • Design system solutions supporting straight-through processing with affiliates
  • Ensure application configuration integrates with new processes and enterprise system interface designs
  • Participate as a system subject matter expert in project meetings
  • Complete special projects, additional duties, and required compliance training
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent
  • 3+ years in Banking Operations, Product Management, Systems Analyst or IT Systems/Application Support
  • In-depth banking system and product knowledge, banking industry standards, and federal regulations
  • Problem solving, communication, and consulting skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and assertively engage with resources at all organizational levels
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while meeting deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, MS Project, and PowerPoint
  • Experience developing business processes and procedures
  • Ability and willingness to work extended hours and be on call for evenings and weekends
  • FiServ (Core and Mobile) product knowledge preferred
  • Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships through clear communication, proactive collaboration, and cross-functional insights
  • Ability to build trusted internal or external client relationships and deliver tailored solutions
  • No unusual physical exertion is involved
