About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the fund post establishment working with legal, compliance and group leadership
- Tailor the fund’s investment strategy, credit policy and risk framework for SME direct financing within the Saudi market
- Raise capital and manage relationships with institutional investors, family offices and strategic partners in the Kingdom
- Oversee portfolio origination, underwriting, monitoring and collections
- Represent the fund before the CMA, the board, investors and other stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with CMA Investment Funds Regulations and the fund’s governance framework
- Build and lead the fund from day one as Head of Asset Management and Managing Director
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 10 years of experience in asset management, private credit, direct lending, SME banking or investment banking, with significant experience in the Saudi market
- A proven record of leading teams and managing investment portfolios or funds
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi regulatory environment and CMA regulations
- CMA qualification certificates, or eligibility to be registered as a CMA-registered person in a senior role, are strongly preferred
- Established relationships with Saudi investors, banks and financial institutions
- A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or a related field; CFA, an MBA or an equivalent qualification is a plus
- Fluency in Arabic and English
