About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive guidance to internal stakeholders on all aspects of Business Intelligence
- Support and advise business departments in implementing use cases on the data platform, such as Azure Databricks
- Conduct analyses and create data products to generate insights
- Research and evaluate innovative technical solutions using representative proofs of concept (POCs)
- Support the expansion of the internal knowledge base as a self-service BI solution
- Design training programs and lead workshops on the data platform
- Work closely with Cloud Data Engineering and Data Warehousing teams to further develop the data foundation
- Handover of final requirements and prototypes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Business Mathematics, or a comparable qualification
- Experience working on projects in cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking in front of others
- Experience designing requirements analyses
- Enthusiasm for data, analytics, and automation
- Strong teamwork skills, a results-oriented approach, and excellent analytical and conceptual abilities
- Fluent written and spoken German and English
- Experience with (Spark) SQL
- Knowledge of Databricks and Python, as well as a strong technical background, is a plus
