About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the rhythm and programmes that connect businesses and teams across the group
- Analyze quarterly engagement surveys, eNPS, and new-joiner check-ins
- Design and maintain a group-wide engagement calendar from weekly to annual activities
- Coordinate people, content, logistics, and invitations for sports and social activities, learning sessions, showcases, hackathons, all-hands meetings, and cultural celebrations
- Create recognition programmes that keep good work visible
- Match audiences with appropriate training and coordinate coaching programmes
- Own annual people governance and culture training
- Coordinate induction for every new joiner
- Create talent-facing events such as showcases, portfolio sessions, internships, and best-practice sessions
- Produce a newsletter twice per quarter sourced from group companies
- Manage the company’s LinkedIn presence
- Run campaigns to maintain relationships with exceptional prospective talent, including previously interviewed candidates
- Partner with the internal team to produce monthly views of retention, enablement, satisfaction, pipeline, and training completion
- Share people metrics and insights with leadership
- Use feedback and results to refine future engagement programmes
- Build a cohesive culture across a group of 30-plus companies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Genuine understanding of how groups of people work
- Ability to read team dynamics and identify which teams are drifting or need bringing together
- Ability to tailor engagement formats for different audiences, including engineering and commercial teams
- Understanding of designing sessions across time zones and in-person settings
- Ability to design engaging events and programmes that people want to attend repeatedly
- Ability to interpret survey results and derive actionable insights
- Confidence presenting proposals to founders
- Strong written communication skills
- Comfort working with an open brief and creating processes from scratch
- Ownership-oriented approach; specific years of experience are not required
- Ability to work with engagement, retention, satisfaction, enablement, pipeline, and training-completion metrics
