About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct legal research and draft filings and transaction documents, including term sheets and purchase agreements
  • Assist in developing transaction strategies by analyzing legal issues and contributing to strategy discussions with senior lawyers
  • Support due diligence by reviewing and analyzing financial statements, contracts, and other relevant documents
  • Coordinate transaction processes, manage timelines, and ensure required steps are completed efficiently
  • Manage case files and ensure deadlines and procedural requirements are met
  • Develop transaction legal skills and expertise
  • Coordinate the work of more junior team members when needed
  • Coach and develop more junior lawyers
  • Represent clients under partner supervision with senior colleagues
  • Provide support during negotiations and client management
  • Report to a Partner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in a specialized area of law, typically with 3–5 years of practice post qualification
  • Experience handling complex legal tasks and contributing to the resolution of key legal matters
  • Excellent research, drafting and analytical skills
  • Solid communication and collaboration skills
  • Legal qualification implied by post-qualification practice requirement
