About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead full-cycle recruiting across all levels and departments
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to source, attract, and hire talent
- Track recruiting metrics and improve hiring workflows
- Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers
- Create interview questions and panel guides aligned with job requirements and compliance
- Guide candidates through the interview process with timely, transparent communication
- Coordinate and participate in virtual and in-person interviews
- Source active and passive candidates through social media, professional networks, job boards, colleges, universities, and community partnerships
- Collaborate with the Senior Certification Specialist on candidate eligibility and licensure compliance
- Support internship and talent pipeline programs
- Use the ATS to post jobs, manage candidate flow, communicate status updates, and document hiring activities
- Review and disposition applications; complete employment and degree verifications; upload required documentation
- Provide HR representation in panel interviews and maintain panel guide compliance
- Assist with recruitment policies, procedures, and SOPs
- Partner with Compensation on salary analyses for instructional and support roles
- Implement screening and interviewing processes
- Support employer branding through career fairs, networking events, and professional associations
- Advise hiring managers on recruitment processes, candidate evaluation, and salary recommendations
- Coach staff on career goals and resume development
- Build and maintain talent pipelines
- Collaborate on special projects and presentations for the Talent Acquisition team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business, public administration, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Three years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in education, public sector, or high-volume recruitment environments
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., Workday) and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, or equivalent platforms
- Ability to manage 12+ open roles simultaneously across multiple teams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust and credibility with candidates and internal partners
- Knowledge of human resource administration principles, methods, and techniques related to recruitment
- Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and school district laws, codes, and regulations related to recruitment
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and complete analyses, proposals, reports, and other written materials
- Ability to analyze complex administrative and technical issues and make appropriate recommendations
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects under deadline pressure
- Occasional travel for meetings, trainings, and conferences, potentially requiring overnight stays
