About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and evolve the CI/CD platform using GitHub Actions with self-hosted RunsOn runners and migrate/refactor Jenkins Next
- Build and maintain AWS Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Terragrunt, and Terramate
- Design secure-by-default delivery pipelines with branch protection, PR approval rulesets, SOPS secrets management, and production approval flows
- Migrate from IAM users and long-lived access keys toward IAM roles
- Address security gaps including open ports, unmanaged credentials, and missing guardrails
- Work with Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, ArgoCD, Grafana, Prometheus, and Backstage
- Review and improve existing Terraform, pipelines, and AWS infrastructure
- Share support and triage responsibilities and reduce them through automation and tooling
- Make architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and adapt to changing requirements and production challenges
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong AWS experience and deep hands-on CI/CD expertise (GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins)
- Solid Infrastructure as Code background with Terraform; Terragrunt/Terramate a plus
- Real Kubernetes/EKS experience, including Helm and GitOps with ArgoCD
- Security-conscious mindset covering IAM, secrets, network exposure, and least-privilege access
- DevSecOps experience is a strong plus
- Ability to design solutions and adapt when constraints change
- Sound judgment on edge cases, traffic spikes, regional outages, and incidents
- Effective, deliberate use of AI tooling with understanding of its outputs and trade-offs
