About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce inks and ink intermediates by following standard operating procedures
- Prepare, react, and store a variety of products
- Operate mixers, pumps, filters, hoists, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment
- Charge materials and process batches
- Monitor and record process data
- Load, unload, and clean equipment
- Package finished products
- Maintain a safe and orderly work area
- Perform daily housekeeping of the work area and equipment
- Assist other production areas as needed
- Complete cross-training in batch-weighing, mill operation, forklift operation, and safety
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work
- Ability to lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures, indoors and outdoors
- Ability to work any shift
- Ability to troubleshoot process issues
- Working knowledge of all associated SOPs
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good basic math skills
- Reliable transportation
- Satisfactory attendance
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing/production environment
- Ability to work safely around chemicals and potentially hazardous chemical waste
