About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze and resolve complex software and hardware incidents in production environments
- Conduct technical investigations using monitoring and observability tools such as Snowflake, New Relic, and internal tools
- Identify root causes and implement the necessary fixes to restore services
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to diagnose issues and gather enhancement requests
- Work closely with software, firmware, and infrastructure teams to coordinate technical resolutions and ensure effective incident follow-up
- Participate in the implementation of application enhancements and complex configuration changes
- Deploy, apply, and monitor software updates in production environments
- Develop and maintain scripts and tools to optimize and simplify operations
- Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, troubleshooting procedures, bugs, and enhancement requests
- Contribute to systems performance monitoring and CI/CD pipeline support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development, software support, or complex technical troubleshooting
- Experience with programming languages such as C#, Python, C++, or other relevant languages
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for tool development and automation
- Experience with incident tracking and version control tools such as Jira and Git
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, as well as containerization technologies such as Docker
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure and microservices architectures
- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose effective solutions in critical environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multidisciplinary teams
- Professional-level fluency in both French and English is required to ensure clear and effective communication with all teams and customers across Canada
