About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute physical hardware installations and maintenance across camera systems, solar panels, batteries, and mounting poles
  • Conduct site surveys with public safety partners and property owners
  • Verify traffic control plans and permit compliance
  • Prepare sites, including post-hole digging and mounting hardware installation
  • Align LPR and PTZ cameras
  • Diagnose and repair field hardware, software connections, and minor underground private wiring or irrigation disruptions
  • Document installations, inventory logs, and service records through the mobile field application
  • Manage local equipment shipments
  • Operate power and hand tools, ladders, bucket trucks, lifts, field vehicles, and tow support trailers
  • Follow environmental and workplace safety protocols
  • Travel across the region according to customer site needs
  • Split time between new deployments and ongoing fleet maintenance across cameras, solar systems, and mobile trailers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Practical experience in low-voltage wiring, electrical assembly, construction, or technical field service environments
  • Ability to lift equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work outdoors independently across dynamic daily routes and varying weather conditions
  • Ability to safely drive service vans and trucks and tow small equipment trailers
  • Comfort using mobile applications and basic digital tools to log service records, submit site photos, and track inventory
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with a driving record meeting company motor vehicle standards
  • Ability to operate ladders, bucket trucks, and lifts at heights up to 30 feet
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays for travel or project completion
  • Ability and willingness to travel at least 25%, including possible overnight stays and extended periods away from home
  • Must be at least 21 years old due to vehicle rental and insurance requirements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS certification if required, including FBI CJIS Security Policy requirements and a fingerprint-based background check
  • Authorization to work lawfully in the United States
  • Ability to safely perform essential duties within manufacturer weight limits for ladders and bucket trucks
  • Ability to work outdoors in temperatures ranging from -20F to 120F
