About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Pick product from multi-level racks using a cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck
  • Put away, stack, and store merchandise in appropriate areas
  • Stage, load, and unload shipments to and from trailers, containers, and designated areas
  • Transport product to and from designated areas
  • Pull and prepare product for shipment, accurately label pallets, and stage shipments
  • Break down and consolidate pallets for put away or picking
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently according to prescribed work methods and safety procedures
  • Inspect equipment daily and perform minor maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
  • Maintain clean and orderly warehouse and loading areas
  • Participate in training and learning sessions
  • Follow established safety procedures and report safety concerns to management or the Store Support Center Safety Department

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • One to three years of recent work experience
  • One to three years of experience operating an order picker/cherry picker, counterbalance, and reach truck
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to exert 30–60 pounds of force frequently and/or 20–30 pounds constantly
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with moving vehicles and exposure to heights up to 50 feet
  • Must comply with OSHA and MSDS standards
  • Must acquire required safety certifications
