About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care and services to FCS and Rx To Go patients
- Handle oral oncology medications
- Verify prescriptions
- Ensure REMS compliance
- Counsel patients
- Perform functions necessary for optimal specialty pharmacy performance
- Apply knowledge of relevant regulations and organizational and departmental policies and procedures
- Perform assigned duties and projects
- Work under the supervision of the Pharmacy Clinical Manager and Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor
- Provide Pharmacist in Charge duties as applicable
- Work in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and manage competing priorities
- Provide rotating remote coverage and rotating after-hours on-call support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Florida resident candidate
- Florida Pharmacist License required
- Current, unrestricted, active pharmacist license in good standing for Florida
- Pharm D. or Bachelor's in Pharmacy
- Minimum of five (5) years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Specialty Pharmacy/Oncology experience preferred
- Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) or BCOP candidate preferred
- Good command of the English language
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
- Ability to work remotely effectively as required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Ability to manage competing priorities and demands from multiple stakeholders and sites
- Willingness and ability to travel 25%
- Ability to work Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:00pm, with rotating 11:30am-5:00pm remote shifts and rotating after-hours on-call coverage
- Successful completion of background, drug, and nicotine screens
- Required vaccinations, including influenza vaccine, unless an approved exemption applies
