About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Handle most clerical duties associated with a medical clinic
- Perform duties across all Patient Services Specialist front-office stations
- Assist co-workers with every Patient Services Specialist job duty
- Learn and perform all duties of all front-office stations
- Adapt station duties to different office layouts
- Apply copywriting and editing skills
- Meet time-sensitive priorities with attention to detail
- Stay organized and flexible as priorities change
- Travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma / GED required
- Healthcare field experience highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong communication skills with a wide variety of personalities
- Critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise independent judgment
- Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness
- Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and emotionally charged matters
- Good command of the English language
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and juggle competing priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings
- Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Must pass background, drug, and nicotine screens
- New hires must receive required vaccinations, including influenza, unless an approved exemption applies
