About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle clerical duties associated with a medical clinic
  • Learn and perform duties across all Patient Services Specialist front-office stations
  • Assist co-workers with all Patient Services Specialist job duties
  • Support implementation and integration of a new Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system across healthcare locations throughout Florida
  • Assist with EMR deployment and workflow optimization
  • Train staff on the new EMR system
  • Support adoption of new system processes
  • Travel weekly to various offices across Florida
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma / GED required
  • Experience in the healthcare field highly preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong ability to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills with a wide variety of personalities
  • Critical thinking, problem solving, analysis, decision-making, planning, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment
  • Developed interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, diplomacy, tact, conflict management, delegation skills, and diversity awareness
  • Ability to work effectively with sensitive and confidential material and emotionally charged matters
  • Good command of the English language
  • Second language is an asset but not required
  • Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment and juggle competing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
  • Valid state Driver’s License required for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings
  • Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy required
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and overnight stays as needed
  • Must pass background, drug, and nicotine screenings
  • Must receive required vaccinations, including influenza, barring an approved exemption
