About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Build high-performance backend services and APIs for enterprise-grade SaaS applications
Develop scalable, secure Node.js microservices and integrations within the Salesforce ecosystem
Create modern front-end experiences using Vue.js and TypeScript
Build CI/CD pipeline tooling, automation frameworks, and developer productivity infrastructure
Implement real-time data processing and event-driven architectures for sensitive enterprise data at scale
Work directly with engineering leadership, product managers, and the CEO
Own significant parts of the architecture and ship production code used by enterprise customers
Own systems end-to-end and contribute to product growth, platform capabilities, and delivery velocity

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional Node.js development in production environments
Expert-level understanding of asynchronous programming, event loops, streams, and the Node.js runtime
Understanding of backpressure, setImmediate, process.nextTick, and unhandled promise rejections
Deep experience with TypeScript in production codebases
Strong command of RESTful API design, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API security best practices
Proven experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, query optimization, and data modeling
Understanding of database schema performance implications at scale
Proficiency with Git workflows, code review, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of Docker, cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and infrastructure-as-code principles
Long-term commitment to a full-time engagement; not a short-term contractor
Salesforce development experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, or Salesforce API integrations (highly preferred)
Experience building or contributing to Salesforce ISV (AppExchange) products (highly preferred)
Vue.js front-end development experience, especially Vue 3 Composition API and state management (highly preferred)
Experience in B2B SaaS serving enterprise customers with strict compliance requirements (highly preferred)
Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps toolchains and Salesforce ecosystem practices (highly preferred)
