About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the networking hardware category, including switches, routers, and DPUs for fabrics connecting 100k+ accelerator clusters
  • Negotiate supply agreements with networking OEMs covering price, lead time, and roadmap access
  • Dual-source critical switch platforms and manage the qualification burden created by dual-sourcing
  • Align buy plans with network engineering roadmaps so hardware generations arrive when designs need them
  • Support the supply chain team's efforts to supply tens of gigawatts of compute
  • Qualify and dual-source critical equipment categories
  • Keep procurement off the critical path to enable schedule compression
  • Improve supply chain prediction modeling for lead times, demand, and disruption

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience sourcing networking hardware at scale from major OEMs
  • Experience handling end-of-life and generation transitions without stranding inventory or stalling builds
  • Sufficient technical understanding of optics, ASICs, and port speeds to negotiate credibly with product teams
  • Ability to manage firmware, licensing, and support terms
  • Bonus: experience with AI/HPC fabric hardware
  • Bonus: experience with white-box and ODM switching
  • Bonus: experience with optics supply chains
  • Bonus: experience with vendor financing structures
  • Authorization to work in the United States
