  • Design reference architectures and security standards for security engineering
  • Architect defensible environments where workloads may themselves be adversarial
  • Run security design reviews for systems touching training and inference environments, from bare metal and fabric through scheduler and storage
  • Track emerging frontier-compute technologies, including new accelerators, interconnect generations, confidential computing, and agentic workloads
  • Build and scale Fluidstack’s security program from bare metal to boardroom across continents

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience securing AI, ML, or HPC infrastructure where assets were genuinely worth stealing, such as lab infrastructure, supercomputing centers, or research environments attracting nation-state attention
  • Ability to architect isolation across hardware, firmware, hypervisor, kernel, container, network fabric, and physical layers
  • Understanding of AI compute infrastructure, including accelerators, high-speed interconnects, parallel storage, and schedulers
  • Original work in systems or ML security, published or shipped
  • Ability to translate research into buildable architecture
  • Ability to defend design decisions in review and revise them based on technical evidence
  • Confidential computing and attestation depth, weights custody or cryptographic key custody at scale, and systems or ML security publication record are bonuses
  • Authorization to work in the United States is required by the application form
