About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design the security control plane end to end and make architecture decisions for the platform
Build and operate the security control plane at every site, on premises and with a cloud management layer where appropriate
Own PKI, certificate lifecycle, identity integration, and automated deprovisioning
Build integrations, APIs, and monitoring to detect site degradation proactively
Replace hand-built, appliance-per-site, vendor-managed systems with versioned, reproducible, and recoverable infrastructure
Own backup, disaster recovery, and non-production environments for validating changes before live deployment
Secure physical and logical infrastructure supporting frontier AI compute
Build the security program from scratch across a multi-campus infrastructure estate

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience designing and running a production virtualization and clustered storage platform
Experience serving as design authority for an architecture used by other teams
Experience owning database high availability and recovery
Experience restoring from backups
Experience automating PKI and certificate lifecycle
Experience integrating identity systems for automated provisioning and deprovisioning
Experience replacing vendor-managed or hand-built systems with reproducible infrastructure
Ability to write code and scripts as a normal part of the job
Bonus: experience with video management and access control platforms such as Genetec Security Center, Milestone, and Lenel
Bonus: enterprise virtualization and clustered storage with Hyper-V, VMware vSphere, Nutanix, and failover clustering
Bonus: database high availability with SQL Server Always On and clustering
Bonus: cloud management planes with AWS
Bonus: infrastructure as code with Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell DSC
Must be authorized to work in the United States
