About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the workers compensation program across data center operations, construction, manufacturing, and corporate
  • Manage carrier and TPA selection, claim reserves, reviews, and claim closure
  • Run end-to-end case management for work-related injuries and illnesses
  • Establish occupational medicine and clinic networks in each operating state
  • Build the return-to-work program, including transitional duty for shift-based field roles
  • Establish industrial hygiene and ergonomics programs for high-energy sites and the manufacturing facility
  • Conduct exposure assessments and sampling for heat, noise, and fatigue controls
  • Reduce ergonomic risks in shift-based field work and implement medical surveillance where required
  • Own OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 recordkeeping, electronic submissions, and state filings
  • Consolidate claims, near-miss, and clinic data into injury-trend and cost-driver reporting
  • Enable leadership and site HSE teams to act proactively on injury trends

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Personally managed a multi-state workers compensation program for a workforce of thousands
  • Experience with carrier and TPA relationships, reserve reviews, and premium and experience-mod outcomes
  • Case management for high-severity injuries in construction, manufacturing, or heavy industry
  • Built and implemented a return-to-work or transitional duty program
  • Experience working with field supervisors and union or contractor workforces
  • Led industrial hygiene and ergonomics work, including exposure assessments, sampling, task redesign, and medical surveillance
  • Owned OSHA recordkeeping across many sites and passed an inspection or audit
  • Experience working with carriers, adjusters, defense counsel, occupational physicians, HR, and injured employees
  • Claims and clinic data analysis for injury trends and cost drivers
  • Industrial hygiene or safety credentials such as CIH or CSP are a bonus
  • Case management or disability management credentials such as CCM, CPDM, or occupational health RN are a bonus
  • Experience with self-insured or high-deductible workers compensation programs and captive structures is a bonus
  • Experience with multi-state compliance, including Texas non-subscriber rules, New York, Indiana, and Louisiana, is a bonus
  • Experience with Origami, Riskonnect, or Intelex is a bonus
  • Authorized to work in the United States
