About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the Office of Information Technology, Finance and Administration, and the agency's IT operations, infrastructure, and security operations
- Ensure operation of enterprise network servers and Microsoft Office 365 cloud server infrastructure
- Administer on-premise Active Directory and data center servers, including DNS and DHCP using Cisco Meraki switches
- Configure and manage Cisco Meraki switches, firewalls, and core security components
- Maintain operating systems, vendor versions, Microsoft Defender, Qualys patch and vulnerability management, and mobile device management
- Administer Okta Single Sign-On, application publishing, and Cloud-Gen zero-trust external application tunneling
- Provide expert consultation and administration for Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business
- Administer and upgrade VOIP infrastructure, including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, and Cisco Voice Gateway
- Administer Microsoft Sentinel log management and Barracuda Zero Trust Remote Access
- Provide administrative support for the public website and grant management system, including user permissions, employee deactivation, and incident escalation
- Assist with FISMA activities, NIST security controls, continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, DHS CDM implementation, and security assessments and accreditation
- Maintain security systems, patch management, SIEM event logs, and vulnerability documentation
- Update standard operating procedures and network diagrams
- Manage hypervisor infrastructure, hardware upgrades, change control, planning, and coordination
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft Windows Servers (2008/2012/2016) in an enterprise environment
- Minimum of 3 years working and administering Microsoft Office 365 cloud and Microsoft Azure
- Minimum of 3 years working and providing administration of SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Office 2016 Professional or for Business, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Azure, Skype for Business, and One Drive for Business
- Working knowledge of Identity Access Management Systems and Single Sign-On
- Minimum 3 years of experience administering Unified Messaging Communications and Voice Messaging Systems, including Backups and Add-Move-Change
- Knowledge of McAfee EPO
- Working knowledge of Patch Management Systems
- Minimum 3 years of experience with network vulnerability scanning and analysis
- Knowledge of Log Management and specifically Microsoft Sentinel
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
