About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee end-to-end legal operations and the contract lifecycle
- Perform first-pass reviews of redlines and addenda
- Identify deviations from company standards and prepare documents for further negotiation
- Coordinate internal and external escalations
- Flag high-risk items or complex legal language for third-party counsel or CFO review
- Own standard SaaS Agreements, Partner Agreements, and NDAs
- Maintain Salesforce and CRM integrity with agreement details, executed addenda, and negotiated terms
- Perform first-pass reviews of DPAs and security-related legal paperwork or questionnaires
- Oversee compliance initiatives involving privacy regulations, data security standards, and international legal requirements
- Serve as a bridge between sales, finance, and legal
- Participate in phone screening, hiring manager, and panel interview processes as applicable to the hiring process
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of experience in contract management, paralegal work, or legal operations, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth tech environment
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms for contract data and reporting
- Ability to review legal redlines and negotiate terms while balancing risk, business velocity, and customer relationships
- High accuracy in data entry and ability to spot discrepancies in legal documents
- Familiarity with DPAs and data security/privacy compliance
- Ability to explain legal risks and trade-offs to stakeholders, including the CFO and Sales leadership
- Hybrid work arrangement requiring at least one in-office day per week, with additional onsite days as needed
- Ideally based in or within reasonable commuting distance of Columbus, Ohio
