About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the organization in achieving IT compliance responsibilities
- Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors throughout the full audit lifecycle
- Document new and existing IT processes and design controls
- Develop and execute testing approaches to evaluate control operating effectiveness
- Maintain ongoing compliance through continuous monitoring
- Serve as the point of contact between IT managers and auditors to review control evidence and close audit findings
- Review management control testing and documentation
- Administer the IT remediation work tracking system
- Track remediation deliverables committed to audit teams
- Work with IT managers to address audit findings and implement practical remediation solutions
- Define success criteria for remediation efforts
- Execute post-migration evaluations for application migrations to the cloud
- Communicate with IT leadership and present observations and insights through regular reporting
- Provide administrative support for IT Compliance information, reporting, and workflow systems, including SharePoint on-premises and cloud systems
- Identify and present opportunities to streamline or innovate IT Compliance processes, reporting, or systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (preferred fields: Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Finance & Technology, Business or related field)
- 2-4 years in an IT Compliance, IT Audit, or IT Risk role
- Understanding of IT policies, risks, processes, and controls
- Ability to identify key risks and controls, with a thorough understanding of security and control optimization for application security
- Experience conducting security design workshops with IT stakeholders
- Ability to manage relationships with IT management at varying levels
- Experience assessing control frameworks such as NY DFS, NIST, CIS, NAIC, TSC, or similar
- Experience across IT ecosystems, including Application Development, Infrastructure, and Cloud
- Familiarity with SOX, SOC2, or Trust Services Principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience scheduling and preparing presentations and status reports
- Preferred: experience with cloud platform technology
- Preferred: experience with ServiceNow and CMBD platform
- Preferred: experience with GRC solutions
- Preferred: familiarity with SharePoint development or administration
- Preferred: familiarity with assessing cloud architecture
- Preferred: Microsoft Directory Services
