About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform detailed analyses of financial statements and budgets, identifying inconsistencies and areas for improvement
- Conduct complex internal audits and support external audits
- Assist in the development and implementation of effective internal processes and controls
- Analyze and recommend solutions to improve financial, operational, and control processes
- Prepare management reports and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Support the review and implementation of accounting and financial policies
- Participate in defining strategies to optimize costs and maximize results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- At least 6 months of experience in controllership, accounting, finance, or related areas
- Professional experience in the field, preferably at medium-sized to large companies
- Experience with or strong knowledge of analytical tools and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Advanced knowledge of accounting, auditing, and finance
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Intelligence/Revenue Management (RM), Sales, and other departments
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of tax regulations and external auditing
- Willingness to travel
- Experience in cost analysis, account reconciliation, month-end closing, and the preparation of management reports is a plus
- Knowledge of the TOTVS system is preferred
- Basic to intermediate English proficiency
