About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide accounting, financial reporting, and analysis services for clients
  • Record cash receipts, credit card statements, invoices, disbursements, and journal entries
  • Perform timely bank and brokerage reconciliations
  • Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Maintain vendor and client information
  • Record weekly, monthly, and annual payroll expenses
  • Own the bill pay cycle by monitoring bill pay and vendor reports
  • Maintain support schedules and work papers
  • Prepare and review vendor reports
  • Collect, process, and associate invoices, cash, and receipts
  • Participate in meetings, group discussions, and conference calls
  • Share information with team members
  • Assist with client deliverables
  • Manage projects and participate in information collection

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Business management or family office a plus
  • Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience a plus
  • Strong computer aptitude, including expertise with Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks Desktop / Quickbooks Online, and Tax software (if applicable)
  • Understanding of basic accounting concepts, including debits, credits, bank reconciliations, chart of accounts and general ledger accounts
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
  • Strong advocate of continuous improvement
  • Takes ownership of assignments and seeks to improve client services and best practices
  • Self-starter who maintains a positive attitude and loves a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Exceptional organizational skills
