About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain daily, monthly, and bi-yearly Distribution Center maintenance tasks
Keep entryways, hallways, grounds, workspaces, common areas, kitchens, restrooms, offices, and warehouse areas clean and organized
Operate and maintain floor scrubber equipment
Sweep, mop, scrub, and buff floors
Empty receptacles, dispose of trash, and replace bags
Clean and maintain appliances, bathrooms, lunchrooms, kitchens, meeting areas, offices, fixtures, furniture, walls, cabinets, and door frames
Refill bathroom and kitchen supplies
Maintain storage spaces and utility closets
Prepare coffee and Gatorade daily
Dust box tops as needed
Assist with container offloading and other warehouse duties
Report maintenance and safety needs to the direct supervisor
Record personal daily punches and approve accurate bi-weekly time and attendance records
Contribute to department teamwork and perform other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum 1+ years’ experience in janitorial, laborer, or related work
Previous experience working in a warehouse setting preferred
Previous experience with cleaning equipment preferred
Ability to follow direction and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Stress and time management skills
Analytical, creative, practical problem-solving skills
Customer service and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a diverse team
Small project management skills and strong attention to detail
Organized, action- and detail-oriented
Sound work ethic
