About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deliver excellent customer experience with each customer contact
- Support Company products and initiatives using professional judgment
- Review account history to understand customers’ financial situations and determine effective actions to mitigate loss
- Follow Ford Credit policies and guidelines to ensure consistent, quality service
- Act as a Ford Credit brand ambassador while resolving sensitive financial situations with empathy, firmness, and professionalism
- Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls in a fast-paced environment
- Participate in team meetings, share insights, and collaborate with colleagues
- Give and receive constructive feedback from peers and supervisors
- Take on new tasks and adapt to changes supporting Ford Credit and organizational goals
- Use company email and internet access according to established policies
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) Equivalency
- Fully Bilingual (English and French is required)
- Ability to handle difficult conversations and probe for information while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to learn internal account management software and multitask efficiently
- Must reside in or around Edmonton, AB, and be able to attend training at the Edmonton office
- Ability to work a flexible schedule Monday–Friday from 7:00 am–4:00 pm MST
- Candidates must live in and be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Ford Credit Canada does not sponsor work permit applications
- Previous collections, credit, or high-volume financial services experience where negotiation was a primary task is an asset
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment with a high level of accuracy is an asset
- Ability to answer inbound and place outbound calls with customer and dealer satisfaction as a priority is an asset
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously and pivot to changing work requirements is an asset
- Ability to resolve customer and dealer concerns positively and professionally is an asset
