About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and development of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems
  • Develop new control algorithms for feature functions and interfaces using Matlab and Simulink
  • Lead model-based design processes to ensure feature software meets robustness metrics
  • Support integration of Pre-Collision Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and other ADAS features in the ADAS ECU
  • Lead Model-in-the-Loop development for Pre-Collision Assist and other ADAS features
  • Analyze feature-function performance using feature test inputs in the Simulink Model-in-the-Loop environment
  • Support development of feature specifications, FMEAs, robustness disciplines, and DVP

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Automotive Engineering, Electric Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • 2 years of experience utilizing radar, camera, or LIDAR performance and integration with ADAS features
  • 2 years of experience developing and conducting laboratory and vehicle tests of ADAS features
  • 2 years of experience collecting and analyzing ADAS sensing systems data using CANalyzer or similar tools
  • 2 years of experience root-causing feature and sensing issues using collected data
  • 2 years of experience operating robotic test equipment for collision avoidance validation and controlling host and target path trajectory
  • 2 years of experience using in-vehicle ADAS feature calibration for collision avoidance regulatory protocols, including NHTSA, IIHS, EuNCAP, or AEB MOU
  • 2 years of experience performing end-to-end feature interface and diagnostic checks with vehicle CAN and OEM diagnostic tools and software
  • 1 year of experience developing or testing software for embedded hardware
  • 1 year of experience developing feature function and control algorithms in Matlab and Simulink
  • 1 year of experience using Model Based Design processes for software component test vector coverage
  • 1 year of experience running Matlab and Simulink simulations for signal coverage and functional validation
  • 1 year of experience writing code with Matlab and C++
  • 1 year of experience using CAPL
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
