About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Generate autocode for MBD software supporting ADAS feature development
  • Handle specifications, model and code implementation, verification, and validation
  • Work with feature owners to understand and review requirements and system-level interactions
  • Support feature owners with model development activities
  • Implement MBD software robustness disciplines and best practices for optimal, efficient code generation
  • Review code-generation reports, test reports, and static code analysis, resolving identified issues
  • Analyze and review autogenerated code and check optimizations
  • Collaborate with testing teams to expand CAE procedures and reduce dependence on vehicle-level testing
  • Understand sensor and system performance requirements and limitations
  • Develop robust designs, identify improvements, recognize trade-offs, and make design decisions
  • Support software signoff, including calibration tuning, for all vehicle programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • 5 years of experience using Matlab and Simulink for software developing
  • 5 years of experience analyzing and debugging Simulink models through model reviews, auto generated code reviews, and model advisor checks
  • 5 years of experience configuring Matlab and Simulink Embedded Coder to auto generate code
  • 5 years of experience optimizing Simulink models for RAM, ROM, and Cyclomatic Complexity requirements
  • 2 years of experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks
  • 2 years of experience using AUTOSAR Authoring tools, including ETAS ISOLAR or Vector Davinci
  • 2 years of experience developing AUTOSAR-compliant embedded software through hand coding
  • 2 years of experience developing AUTOSAR-compliant embedded software through modeling
  • 1 year of experience performing MIL and SIL testing on MBD software
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the Dearborn worksite
