About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead a team of ADAS Technical Program Managers
  • Define, scope, prioritize, plan, and deliver major ADAS software initiatives across multiple vehicle platforms
  • Align stakeholders across the product development organization on prioritized initiatives
  • Apply technical project planning, management, and leadership for ADAS embedded software development and supplier software integration
  • Implement roadmaps, schedules, project plans, and resourcing plans
  • Manage milestone progress, dependency tracking, risk management, and mitigation
  • Interface with Systems, Software, Suppliers, Manufacturing, V&V, Platform, and Quality teams
  • Partner with technical development leaders to improve delivery velocity
  • Assist leaders and engineers in resolving dependencies and stakeholder issues
  • Lead forums to resolve technical issues and drive solution decisions
  • Provide regular team updates through Confluence, Teams, email, and other communication channels
  • Present project status, schedule risks, and recovery plans to stakeholders and leadership
  • Lead executive-level reviews across multiple ADAS projects
  • Use Confluence and JIRA to provide visible plans, status, and strategic contingencies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or similar related technical field
  • 10+ years working experience in product development of hardware, software, and/or services
  • 5+ years leading technical projects globally
  • 3+ years leading a team of engineers or technical program managers
  • Expertise with modern work management tools and technical work plan management
  • Expert level proficiency with JIRA is required
  • Expertise with modern software development practices
  • Strong background in embedded software development
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Preferred: Masters degree in a related technical field
  • Preferred: 12+ years working experience in product development
  • Preferred: Experience in software development within the ADAS or automated driving domain
  • Preferred: Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines on high complexity projects throughout the entire product lifecycle
  • Preferred: Expert knowledge of agile development methods
  • Preferred: Mastery of technical plan development
  • Preferred: Proven ability to communicate program information to various leadership and stakeholder levels
