About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and conduct verification and validation of ADAS-related software
  • Develop test procedures, plans, automated scripts, and test cases
  • Define test setups for validation and verification, including equipment, tools, licenses, hardware, and HIL test systems
  • Support test bench bring-up
  • Identify test dependencies, including specifications, interfaces, compliance, and hardware/software components
  • Identify opportunities and provide support for automation and tooling
  • Execute automated and manual tests
  • Analyze test results and perform root cause analysis and verification
  • Contribute to agile Scrum development sprints
  • Collaborate with technical specialists, feature owners, development teams, and other test teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, including coursework, internship, or co-op experience
  • 3+ years of experience as an automation developer or test engineer preferred
  • Understanding of feature specifications, FMEAs, robustness disciplines, and Design Verification Plan preferred
  • Understanding of performance requirements and feature/system interactions; ability to establish quantitative and subjective verification procedures preferred
  • Familiarity with control algorithms using Matlab, Simulink, or equivalent preferred
  • Experience with driver assistance technologies using radar, cameras, or sensors preferred
  • Experience with data collection and analysis, ideally in driver assist technology preferred
  • Experience with test management tools for test strategy development, test case development, test execution, and test metric reporting preferred
  • Experience with defect management systems such as JIRA preferred
  • Ability to interpret C/C++, Java code, or logs for issue resolution preferred
  • Experience with automated test systems and test script development preferred
  • Experience with Matlab, Shell scripting, Jenkins, GitHub, and Linux development preferred
  • Experience with low-level debugging tools such as Lauterbach ICE, Wireshark, and oscilloscopes preferred
  • Experience with automated testing environments, frameworks, and programming languages such as Gtest, CUnit, Slash, Python, and Ruby preferred
  • Experience using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) systems and test bench setup preferred
  • Experience with debuggers, analyzers, and similar test equipment preferred
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
