About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support implementation of system releases, enhancements, and purchasing process changes
- Assess impacts on buyer workflows and flag risks early
- Plan and execute impact assessments, communications, training, and go-live support
- Validate readiness, gather user feedback, and resolve adoption barriers
- Provide ongoing coaching, office hours, and refresher sessions
- Develop and maintain training, job aids, quick-reference guides, and self-service materials
- Support virtual and in-person training for buyers and global supply chain users
- Track training completion and adoption metrics
- Deliver supplier training, guidance, and communications
- Support supplier onboarding and engagement on sourcing and purchase-order processes
- Gather supplier feedback and improve the supplier experience with Purchasing and IT
- Develop communications for system launches, enhancements, and ongoing operations
- Manage global audiences, distribution lists, and communication channels
- Prepare leadership updates, program status reports, and risk summaries
- Support newsletters, podcasts, and engagement campaigns
- Partner with Supply Chain, Purchasing, Finance, and IT to align systems with business requirements
- Ensure system changes are reflected in purchasing policies, procedures, and user materials
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows through digital tools, automation, and AI
- Represent the workstream in governance, readiness reviews, and stakeholder forums
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- 3+ years of supply chain experience, including hands-on experience working as a buyer (production, program, commodity, or indirect)
- Solid understanding of sourcing, supplier onboarding, purchase order management, and supplier engagement
- Experience with enterprise procurement, supply chain, or ERP systems such as SAP or Ariba
- Experience or strong interest in training, coaching, communications, or change management, including supporting users through system or process change
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with comfort training and presenting to internal users and external suppliers
- Strong analytical and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of AI and automation and their application to business processes
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Preferred/bonus: system implementation, rollout, or process-change experience; supplier training content or delivery; end-to-end sourcing; cost studies; supplier cost analysis; business case development; Sourcing Workplan Tool, Power BI, or Qlik Sense; broader Supply Chain experience; change management or learning certification such as Prosci or ADKAR
