About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Implement low-voltage power supply module hardware from initial architecture design through final implementation and vehicle launch
  • Drive program execution, process adherence, sign-offs, documentation, quality requirements, and functional requirements
  • Own Ford’s GPDS milestone management system for Electronics Module applications and program management timelines
  • Ensure Chief and Manager signoffs with TDRs at key milestones
  • Identify and address complex packaging and electrical design issues
  • Lead root cause analysis, define corrective actions, and oversee implementation
  • Use Global 8D, 5 Why’s, and Is/Is Not quality tools to communicate status and drive resolutions
  • Facilitate trade-off discussions, engineering reviews, and decision forums with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the Core Electronics Module Design Team
  • Liaise with module suppliers on timing plans and projects
  • Support vehicle architecture teams with packaging locations and electrical connections
  • Manage requirements and follow-ups with the Core team
  • Manage DCRs, To4, ESOWs, FMA documents, SCCAFs, CPAs, and other program-level deliverables
  • Support vehicle-level testing, including garage testing and wind tunnel testing
  • Review and establish SDS testing through FEDEDDVP
  • Review and edit owner and workshop manuals
  • Monitor AIMS, DURIS, and customer fleet issues and follow them to closure
  • Review annual financial planning volumes and incorporate changes for low-voltage power supply hardware
  • Support design efficiency and Total Value Management studies to optimize cost and performance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • Experience and demonstrated knowledge of electrical modules and PCB/circuit design, including DCDC’s and ultracapacitors
  • Demonstrated success leading electrical modules through the launch process to production
  • 3+ years of experience delivering electrical modules to production
  • Proven cross-functional leadership capabilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interface effectively with senior leadership
  • Ability to define strategic plans and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously
  • Strong cost and quality mindset applied to process optimization and product delivery
  • Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering is an advantage
  • Experience with Vehicle Program execution and delivery is an advantage
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Lithium-ion and Sodium-ion battery technology is an advantage
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
