About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze and make informed decisions on consumer and commercial credit according to purchase policy and lending requirements
  • Review an average of 40–50 credit applications per day, spending approximately five minutes on each and conducting additional investigations as needed
  • Serve as a key contact for dealership partners by negotiating credit application terms
  • Nurture dealer business relationships and apply company plans to develop win-win solutions
  • Evaluate creditworthiness and make independent decisions in the Company’s best interest
  • Facilitate vehicle sales for dealers and Ford of Canada while managing lending risk
  • Participate in coaching, training, and ongoing team calibration sessions
  • Learn additional functions to support Company needs
  • Collaborate with Ford/Lincoln dealers primarily by phone

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, or another related discipline
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Availability for rotational shifts, including evenings up to 9:00pm EST, some holidays, and Saturdays up to 8:00pm EST
  • Ability to work in the office 4 days per week
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
  • Understanding of credit, financial analysis, sales, collections, and relationship management preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining organization and efficiency preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills preferred
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to independently implement solutions preferred
  • Ability to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and adapt communication style preferred
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Candidates must provide proof of degree completion; foreign degrees require an Education Credential Assessment showing Canadian equivalency
