About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and execute an integrated communications strategy
- Provide strategic communications leadership and executive counsel to senior leaders across Ford Credit functions
- Lead headquarters-based internal communications, including quarterly global town halls, headquarters news, CEO internal communications and major employee events
- Strengthen Ford Credit’s external presence through media activations and executive engagements
- Advise on messaging, positioning and reputational risk
- Manage stakeholder outreach, special projects and crisis/issues management
- Oversee communications-team purchasing, budget forecasting and internal controls
- Drive alignment across the greater Ford Communications team
- Anticipate emerging business, industry and reputational topics and shape communications strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in Communications
- Progressive experience in communications, journalism or public relations
- Demonstrated success in executive communications, crisis/issues management, content creation, internal communications and corporate communications
- Experience in financial services, banking or automotive industries strongly preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Visa sponsorship is not available
