About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan and lead communications strategies for GSCS systems, programs, and initiatives, initially focused on I-ERP
- Build engagement strategies for new global user groups as GSCS tools expand
- Write internal communications for Purchasing, cross-functional partners, and leaders
- Review and strengthen team content for accuracy, consistency, and quality
- Contribute to corporate, external, and public communication strategies
- Create and manage GSCS newsletters
- Lead scripting, guest coordination, and logistics for GSCS podcasts, including Tek Talks and I-ERP Minute
- Use storytelling to make information clear, memorable, and inspiring
- Partner with subject matter experts to design, develop, and update systems training and course curricula
- Lead interactive in-person and virtual training sessions and workshops for global employees and suppliers
- Help develop non-technical online simulations
- Format and update training materials and lead learning sessions such as Rapid Ready
- Maintain a program glossary
- Track, measure, and report communications and training KPIs
- Build and maintain the training tracking dashboard
- Use feedback and survey results to improve content and engagement
- Manage SharePoint and create surveys in MS Forms
- Monitor and respond to team mailboxes and manage Webex and MS Teams chats
- Gather agenda items and lead team meetings
- Develop and maintain weekly team deliverables
- Support other critical initiatives and evolving priorities as directed by GSCS Communications and leadership
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, media, or training
- Excellent writing, editing, and scripting skills, with the ability to make technical topics easy to understand
- Experience developing newsletters and podcast, video, or audio content
- Experience developing and delivering training, both in person and virtually
- Strong PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills
- Experience with SharePoint and online surveys
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines
- Adaptability and curiosity to learn new systems and business areas quickly
- Confidence presenting to and collaborating with people at all levels, including leadership
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred: experience hosting, producing, or scripting podcasts
- Preferred: instructional design, e-learning, or video-based learning tools such as Captivate or Camtasia
- Preferred: video, graphic, or multimedia production skills
- Preferred: experience building KPI or training dashboards
- Preferred: experience supporting enterprise system rollouts or change management communications
- Preferred: experience working across multiple programs or business areas, or in global communications
- Preferred: knowledge of supply chain, purchasing, automotive, or manufacturing
