About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the data ingestion platform
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery
  • Elicit and prioritize stakeholder requirements while balancing business needs, technical feasibility, and resource constraints
  • Engage with data engineers, data scientists, and business users
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and launch platform features and improvements
  • Create product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new features and platform updates
  • Monitor platform performance and user adoption and identify improvements
  • Analyze usage data, conduct user surveys, and gather feedback
  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to executive leadership, engineering, and business units
  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, product discovery, and pulse checks
  • Prepare and present regular product updates and performance reviews to leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data products
  • 3+ years of proven ability to define and execute product roadmaps
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Deep understanding of data ingestion principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Experience with structured, unstructured, real-time, and batch data
  • Experience with data visualization and analytics tools is a plus
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
