About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead end-to-end data analysis on projects
  • Partner with senior data scientists, business owners, database developers, and strategy partners to craft comprehensive analyses
  • Report on performance with insights and recommendations
  • Assess data, business objectives, and processes
  • Develop clear and meaningful insights
  • Create and maintain statistical data models
  • Resolve data quality issues and identify underlying issues
  • Compile and disseminate weekly, monthly, quarterly, and other performance reports
  • Improve processes, data collection, delivery methods, and value
  • Interpret requests and deliver appropriate metrics with essential context
  • Develop metric reports that generate business value
  • Apply A/B testing, audience segmentation, and content targeting to analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3+ years of data/statistical analysis experience (the posting states “Minimum 3+data/statistical analysis”)
  • Highly proficient in SQL, SAS, Python, and R
  • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Experience utilizing Power BI, Looker, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint to present data
  • Familiarity with large data structures
  • Knowledge of statistical testing methodology
  • Ability to write sophisticated SQL queries
  • Proven customer focus experience
  • Experience resolving data quality issues with technical and business owners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to plan and develop metric reports
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a complex environment
  • BA/BS in computer science, management information systems, statistics, mathematics, marketing research, or an equivalent technical or semi-technical undergraduate degree emphasizing statistics
  • Previous Ford Customer Service Division experience desired but not required
