About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and deliver production-grade solutions for global supply-demand matching systems
- Develop, implement, and validate demand forecasting and predictive modeling algorithms
- Apply time-series, causal inference, and optimization techniques to demand forecasting and supply-chain efficiency
- Partner with software engineers and product owners to deliver analytics software
- Contribute to technical specifications and participate in code reviews
- Communicate analytical results to non-technical business partners
- Co-own the end-to-end development lifecycle from data sourcing and exploration through deployment
- Build and maintain scalable pipelines for model deployment and retraining
- Monitor production models for data drift, bias, and accuracy and set up proactive alerting
- Create visualizations to identify patterns and communicate market trends and supply constraints
- Research developments in data science, machine learning, and analytics tools
- Improve the efficiency, accuracy, and robustness of analytical outputs
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Machine Learning/Optimization techniques
- Proven ability to collaborate with software engineering teams to move models into production
- Proven ability to translate real-world business problems into analytical formulations and interpret results for non-analytics partners
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Preferred: Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field
- Expertise in predictive analytical methods such as neural networks, ensemble methods, and support vector machines
- Experience with demand forecasting or market trend analysis
- 2+ years of experience applying advanced statistical methods within production-grade software
- Experience with ML testing strategies, bias detection, and robustness checks
- Experience with optimization methods such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, or heuristics applied to supply chain or resource allocation problems
- Experience deploying and maintaining production software
- Experience deploying solutions in a cloud environment, preferably GCP
- Familiarity with automotive OEM data, dealer relationships, order fulfillment, or large-scale supply chain logistics
