About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate business strategy into actionable capability maps, value streams and target operating models
  • Build and maintain enterprise capability models to uncover gaps, redundancies and investment opportunities
  • Analyze current-state business processes and organizational structures to identify inefficiencies and drive improvements
  • Design future-state business architectures, including process redesign, organizational realignment and capability roadmaps
  • Lead workshops and interviews with business unit leaders, subject matter experts and technology teams
  • Establish and maintain business architecture standards, frameworks and governance processes
  • Collaborate with Enterprise, Solution, Data and Technical Architects to align business and IT architecture
  • Support investment planning by linking capabilities to strategic initiatives and identifying dependencies, risks and value drivers
  • Communicate architectural vision and rationale to drive adoption of new business models
  • Curate, organize and maintain learning content for enterprise architecture learning pathways and employee development

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in business/enterprise architecture, strategy or management consulting
  • Experience with enterprise architecture tools (i.e. ServiceNow, YouDesign, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of business architecture frameworks and methodologies (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK)
  • Proven experience developing capability models, value stream maps and target operating models
  • Demonstrated ability to assess capabilities, analyze findings and deliver recommendations that drive informed decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills to assess current-state processes and identify inefficiencies, gaps and redundancies
  • Ability to translate business strategy into actionable roadmaps and investment priorities
  • Experience leading workshops and interviews to gather requirements and build stakeholder consensus
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Enterprise, Solution, Data and Technical Architects
  • Experience establishing governance processes and architecture standards across an enterprise
  • Strong communication and change management skills with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Business acumen to link capabilities to strategic initiatives and evaluate risks, dependencies and value drivers
  • Preferred: background in large-scale digital transformation or IT investment planning initiatives
  • Preferred: familiarity with Agile and portfolio management practices
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
