About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the design, execution, and continuous improvement of End-of-Line (EOL) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) processes
  • Maintain EOL and FAT procedures for all BESS product lines
  • Translate design validation requirements and test methods into scalable, repeatable production test sequences
  • Define pass/fail criteria, test sequencing, and traceable data capture requirements for each test station
  • Serve as a key technical contact during customer-witnessed testing events
  • Support onsite audits of customers
  • Support testing, supplier, manufacturing, laboratory, and customer activities through occasional travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience developing production test processes for high-voltage battery or power electronics products
  • Familiarity with automated test equipment and data acquisition systems
  • Experience scaling test processes from low-volume pilot production to high-volume manufacturing
  • Six Sigma certification with production/process capability analysis experience
  • Direct experience with stationary BESS end-of-line testing
  • Experience with automated test equipment/PLC systems
  • Experience with SCADA/data acquisition software
  • Experience with SPC and yield analysis tools, such as Minitab and JMP
  • Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to support testing, supplier, manufacturing, or customer activities
  • Ability to work in high-voltage or industrial environments with appropriate training and personal protective equipment
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
