About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with the Ascent and Pega tools
  • Protect daily and weekly production schedules by responding to plant needs and supporting operating plans without remix or production losses
  • Identify operational efficiencies and expand evaluation of supply risks using new tools
  • Seek and mitigate premium costs; improve processes and lead initiatives to reduce premium costs with the MP&L Logistics organization
  • Communicate and quantify risks, escalating to leadership and reporting issues, solutions, and assistance needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Supplier Technical Assistance, Supplier Operations Team, Product Development, and plants
  • Manage critical suppliers and accountability to Ford supplier expectations and Global Terms

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or supply chain organization
  • Knowledge of or experience in Ford with production planning and execution
  • A proven track record in supply chain operations (inbound flows / Packaging / outbound flows / diversity / demand & supply planning / in-plant logistic operations / warehouse management)
  • Well-versed with MS Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Bias for action in identifying and working to solve issues identified in the clear to build horizon.
