About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify business priorities and develop the long-term innovation strategy for Ford Business Solutions
- Identify process bottlenecks, redundant workflows, and automation opportunities to generate operational efficiencies, productivity gains, and cost savings
- Design and facilitate projects targeting improvements in accuracy, speed, and operational value
- Benchmark against global shared services and innovation models
- Integrate Lean, Six Sigma, and process re-engineering frameworks into innovation initiatives
- Map business processes, identify automation and AI opportunities, and translate requirements into technical specifications and user stories
- Prioritize projects, define roadmaps, and manage quick-win AI/ML, RPA, and LCNC deployments
- Guide projects from proof of concept through full-scale deployment
- Coordinate user acceptance testing with business teams
- Cultivate a culture of innovation through workshops, brainstorming sessions, and creativity initiatives
- Build and lead a virtual community of technology enthusiasts, Business Analysts, and citizen developers
- Coach colleagues on applying LCNC and digital tools to simplify daily tasks
- Manage participation in global innovation contests and promote successful global practices locally
- Secure resources, stakeholder buy-in, and alignment for the innovation portfolio
- Partner with Process Re-engineering, Lean, and Transformation teams
- Collaborate with internal communications to create case studies and showcase digital transformation results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Intelligence, Business Information Systems, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to translate emerging technologies such as AI/ML, AI Agents, and Low-Code/No-Code into actionable business strategies
- Proven experience managing digital initiatives, defining user stories, managing backlogs, and delivering user-centric digital solutions
- Conceptual understanding of AI/ML, LLMs, RPA, and LCNC platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform
- Knowledge of coding or software development is a plus
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile frameworks
- Proven ability to liaise between non-technical business stakeholders and technical developers or IT teams
- Experience in cross-cultural, global, or offshore contexts
- Ability to coach, mentor, and build communities of practice
- Ability to influence and drive cultural transformation
- Highly self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, drive initiatives autonomously, and navigate ambiguity
- Fluent in English with excellent executive-level presentation skills
- Prior experience in Shared Services, Global Business Services, or a corporate global environment preferred
- Experience leading change management, digital literacy programs, or internal innovation campaigns preferred
- Experience collaborating with offshore development teams, especially teams in India, preferred
