About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Evaluate, structure, and execute strategic investments and partnerships globally across Ford's businesses
  • Drive strategic investment and partnership activity, including acquisitions, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
  • Work with team members and senior management to assess and execute strategic investments and partnerships
  • Interact with Ford's executive leadership team, external advisors, investors, and emerging technology companies
  • Perform detailed financial analyses, including pro-forma financial models, valuation analyses, and synergy models
  • Support due diligence with target executive teams, outside advisors, and internal subject matter experts
  • Create investment memorandums and presentations for senior management, C-level executives, and Ford's Board of Directors
  • Contribute to negotiation of transaction terms and legal documentation
  • Interface with skill teams and business units across Ford for seamless deal execution
  • Seek and analyze data from varied sources to support decisions and align stakeholders with Ford's strategy
  • Develop creative approaches and innovative ideas that stretch the organization and push industry boundaries

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Advisory Services, strategic management consulting and/or Corporate Development activities
  • 3-5 years of experience exhibiting exceptional financial and analytical skills
  • Industry background is open, with a preference for exposure to multiple companies and business models
  • Experience in a multi-national corporate setting preferred
  • Highly organized, deliberate, and reliable in structuring work
  • Effective as a problem solver
  • Experience working on cross-functional and multi-department enterprise-wide projects
  • Ability to operate under pressure with appropriate attention to detail
  • Ability to assimilate into new teams and projects
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
