About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic HR partnership to business operations leaders in a function, market, or business unit
- Work with senior leaders to shape and execute an HR agenda aligned with organizational goals
- Partner with the HR Business Partner Director and peers to optimize talent, engagement, and employee experience
- Consult and coach business leaders on hiring, performance management, rewards, and organization design
- Collaborate with leaders on People and Culture strategies aligned to business objectives
- Communicate the business value of HR initiatives and support program rollouts
- Partner with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence on workforce planning, high-potential development, and succession planning
- Support organization design and lead medium- to large-scale change initiatives impacting teams and functions
- Apply data, analytics, quantitative reasoning, and data storytelling to inform decisions and drive outcomes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Willingness to relocate, depending on location of job
- Experience with organization design and change management
- Willingness to work in person at Ford’s Dearborn, MI headquarters
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, MBA with concentration in human resources, or advanced degree in a related field (preferred)
- Experience in management consulting (preferred)
- Experience supporting a global team (preferred)
- Experience supporting Tech/Design teams (preferred)
- Experience with recruiting, including executive recruiting, and onboarding (preferred)
- Strong project management skills with high attention to detail (preferred)
