About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and deliver Lincoln’s long-range strategy within the broader Ford enterprise
- Frame and structure problem-solving processes across assigned workstreams
- Determine efficient and effective approaches to solve complex problems
- Collaborate with engineering, product development, marketing, and finance partners to define strategic roadmaps and prioritize initiatives
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for strategic differentiation
- Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and new business models
- Oversee development of a robust, data-driven fact base
- Prioritize conclusions and develop recommendations on key initiatives and operational improvements
- Prepare and present strategic insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements
- Develop metrics and KPIs to track strategic initiative performance and inform adjustments
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of experience with a Master's degree
- Strategy experience
- Product development experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to present to all levels of leadership
- Team player
- Previous roles within Strategy organizations or at Management Consulting firms in Manager or Senior Manager roles
- Prior experience leading strategy projects and large-scale programs/projects at a global scale with cross-functional teams
- Experience leading high-impact cross-functional projects across multiple levels of the organization
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a rapidly evolving industry
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills to build consensus and mobilize teams toward shared goals
- Ability to synthesize data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Track record of challenging the status quo, being self-driven, and bringing creative solutions to complex issues
- Basic understanding of relevant technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory landscape
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Ability to create written presentations for senior executive audiences, mathematical models of large data sets, and white papers
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
