About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Establish the marketing function for Ford Energy from the ground up
  • Work with engineering and product teams to translate technical specifications into value propositions, marketing collateral, and sales tools
  • Plan and run targeted outreach, direct marketing, and digital demand-generation campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Ford Energy sales team to strengthen pipeline
  • Select and execute trade shows and industry association activities
  • Own direct-to-customer channels including web content, social media, newsletters, paid ads, and in-person experiences
  • Integrate marketing channels with the communications strategy
  • Set baseline and target metrics for awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Report on marketing performance and discontinue ineffective activities
  • Work 4 days per week in Dearborn, Michigan

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 5 to 7 years of B2B marketing experience in energy, industrial, infrastructure, or technical hardware/software products
  • 2 to 3 years of managerial experience
  • Experience turning technical products into positioning, collateral, and sales tools
  • Experience shipping campaigns and programs end to end with small teams and small budgets
  • Strong writing skills for complex technical and regulatory concepts
  • BESS, renewables, EV charging, or grid-adjacent experience is advantageous
  • Ability to automate processes using AI
  • Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Visa sponsorship is not available
