About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Learn about AutoSAR Classic software using Matlab/Simulink and/or C code
  • Support functional requirements review for software design
  • Help with bench assembly and design for software testing using welding and joining tools
  • Understand the issues management process
  • Support software function testing using virtual and physical hardware
  • Support testing station setup using breadboards, modules, cables, and related hardware
  • Develop control algorithms and code for vehicle features related to climate, starting, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats
  • Own and review requirements
  • Create high-level functional specification designs
  • Deliver quality code using Matlab/Simulink or C in an Autosar Classic environment
  • Support design reviews, vehicle/breadboard software issue root-cause analysis, and unit testing

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineer student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field of study
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Understanding of embedded hardware and software design
  • Matlab/Simulink, Jira, and Github basics (Jama a plus)
  • Python and C++ coding
  • Familiarity or understanding of CAN/Ethernet tools, AutoSAR, and Functional Safety (ISO26262)
  • Capable of working with Arduino or microcontrollers
