About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate with business operations stakeholders and cross-functional product teams to understand agent and customer experiences
- Translate user and business understanding into specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing scenarios
- Refine and execute Ford Credit servicing strategy
- Contribute to product roadmap and prioritization decisions, balancing features, speed to market, and technical feasibility
- Improve agent efficiency, customer Net Promoter Score, and First Contact Resolution metrics
- Partner with Smart Secure Documents and Knowledge Management teams to define solutions that simplify customer requests and educate agents
- Conduct user research to uncover needs, pain points, and opportunities
- Analyze customer feedback, usage metrics, and operational data to inform requirements and decisions
- Own defined outcomes, set goals, and help measure key results
- Execute functional testing and collaborate with QA engineers
- Support Collections strategies and outcomes with key stakeholders
- Work with third-party vendors on key initiatives
- Manage product backlog, track KPIs, and support quarterly planning across multiple initiatives
- Use data to drive decisions in ambiguous situations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Technology, Information Systems) or equivalent practical experience or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- General knowledge of Ford Credit operations
- Proven ability to define and document clear, concise requirements (e.g., user stories, acceptance criteria) in an agile environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including navigating ambiguity, breaking down complex issues, generating insights from data, and synthesizing actionable recommendations
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills across diverse functional teams and organizational levels
- Curious and adaptable mindset with willingness to learn new technologies, business processes, and customer behaviors
- Evidence of proactive ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Visa sponsorship is not available
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Direct Ford Credit experience and/or financial services experience, particularly credit operations or customer service, preferred
- Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar agile software delivery experience preferred
- Experience with user story mapping, rapid prototyping, BPMN process modeling, or journey mapping preferred
- Experience with CRM systems or dedicated customer service applications preferred
